Popular Miami Beach Destinations

Michael Jaspan is a New York City-based consultant who represents clients in complex business negotiations. He also helps implement transaction strategies to add value to client businesses. In his leisure time, Michael Jaspan enjoys spending time in his seasonal Miami Beach home.

One of the top tourist destinations in the United States, Miami Beach is literally overflowing with activities. There are some spots, however, that tend to be more frequented than others. Here are two of the most popular destinations that tourists tend to seek out when visiting Miami Beach:

South Beach is often called the American Riviera and is arguably the most popular spot in Miami Beach for both locals and tourists alike. Often renowned as one of the premiere vacation destinations in the country, South Beach has developed somewhat of a reputation of late as being a spot only for those looking for round-the-clock parties. The truth, however, is that although it is a top nightlife spot, South Beach also boasts beautiful sands and some of the best food in the country as well.

Ocean Drive is famous for its art deco buildings, crowded thoroughfares and bright lights in the night hours. For those fortunate enough to book lodging here on a trip, they will find themselves at the very epicenter of the Miami Beach scene. Beach activities, fine dining, and excellent shopping are all easily within walking distance.
